Dachshund mommy for 13 years
I just moved to Arizona a month and a half ago, and I brought 2 doxies with me. Sadly saturday Nov 1 I lost my black and tan male "Maxwell" age 13. he had gone blind and could no longer hear, he simply went to sleep and never woke up again. it's been very hard not to cry every minute of every day. But I do have my little red dapple girl "Popple" she is just 15 months and needs my love, so I carry on. I was glad to see a respectable rescue here in AZ, keep up the good work.

Just visited your site...it's right nice. I spend a bit of time on the range of the San Simon valley in SE AZ. My Dachshund "Scooter" was always with me. Most folks down that away have big ol herding dogs, but I prefer a dog that sticks to my heels. Unfortunately, I got side-tracked and he got bit by a rattlesnake and died. My heart is a mess. He liked layin on my underwear at night so I wrapped him in a pair and buried him at the ranch. I miss him every minute of every day. There won't ever be another Scooter but there will be other Dox's, they are a very loyal, obedient (mostly), loving breed.

Dachsies Rule!
We are greyhound and dachshund people. We love our wire-haired dachshund(mix?) I'm sure we'll adopt another dachsie (or two) in the future.

What a Great Thing You Have

Awww!
Your dachshunds are all sooo cute! I just want to take them all home with me. Unfortunately, my husband will probably divorce me if I get another one...lol. I will definitely be making a donation. Thanks for everything you guys do to make better, happier lives for all these darling little dogs!
